Ex Champion Keane Discloses Tier List For TFT Set 2

Jang Keane who had previously won the League of Legends and now the Former League of Legends Pro player, who won the rise of the elements invitational reveals tier list for Season 2 of TFT. Keane has made a seamless transition from the League of Legends scene to Riot Games auto battler and has disclosed the tier list for TFT 2 on the live servers.

As for the champions, eight S tier champions share the limelight namely Kindred, Kha’Zix, Qiyana, Master Yi, Lux, Sion, Malzahar, and Diana. The S class is diverse in terms of class, element, and unit costs which further allows flexible drafts during the game.

Keane has noted down various reasons for being S tier.

Firstly Kindred who is a three mana cost champion comes with three traits, Inferno, Ranger, and Shadow. Shadow comp gives increased unites during damage, which happens during the start of the combat and refreshes on takedowns. It is essential to have Kindred as the primary carrier when the buildup starts around d Shadow comp.

Next is Kha’Zix which is a four cost champion and can roll the game by killing the backline swiftly. On the other hand, if Qiyana gets leveled up, it can CC the entire team for three to five seconds.

The presence of low-cost units Malzahar, Sion, and Diana were present on S tier came as a shock to many. However, Keane explained that the presence of the Inferno element is vigorous on Diana, and especially when it gets combined with some other items.

The ex-League of Legends champion also added that though it is wise to put the focus on the stronger champions, but picking those who are in lower tiers can turn out to be beneficial to set up the perfect comp. However, D/E tiers should be avoided as the heroes there are fragile and not capable enough to build the comp.

The item lost matches with the champion’s list in the way that Master Yi holds the top position and Blademaster trait picks up a Blade of the Ruined King to hit the Blademaster buff to make him unstoppable and provide him tools that would help him to carry on with the game on his own.

The most dependable item on the last set is Guinsoo which remained essential in this set as well. But according to Keane, it is better to avoid items in the last set as they won’t have much impact on the game.

As of now, the tier list seems reliable with some pro-players backing up the Season 2 set, although it wasn’t being released on the live servers for a very long time. Chances are that the tier list might shuffle once players explore more successful combos or if some champions get burnished soon.

Players can now expect more Teamflight Tactics news in the upcoming weeks.
