Love-At-First-Sight Is A Bygone Trend, As Is Indicated By Kristen Bell And Dax Shepard’s Love Story

There was hardly anything brewing between Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard on their first encounter. Kristen Bell Reveals How She And Dax Shepard Went From No Sparks To Madly In Love. Their love story is definitely an inspiration for those who consider love-at-first-sight to be their relationship goal. In a candid interview with Today, Bell admitted that there was not even a speck of romantic connection between her and Dax Shepard when they first met.

Sharing her experience, she said: “The producer of Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Shauna Robertson, who’s Judd Apatow’s previous producing partner, had a birthday dinner. Like, 10 people, maybe less, at a sushi restaurant. And I had just gotten out of a long-term relationship two months prior. And in retrospect, I realize Dax had just gotten out of a long relationship. We were sitting at a table. The only thing I remember is that he talked so much. As per Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard is extremely talkative, as is evident from his podcast Armchair Expert. Kristen admitted that she had no idea who Dax was, and she was not at all impressed by his demeanour as well.

Post her first encounter, Kristen had no idea that she would eventually be falling in love with Dax. However, she admitted to the fact that her second encounter with him was more fun, flirty, and intriguing. In spite of everything that passed between them, the thing that did the trick was Dax’s sending of an outspoken but risky text message to Kristen, that read: “Hi, my name is Dax. I violated your privacy and got your number from Shauna. How do you feel about that?” The mother of two replied to his text saying: “And I was like, Excuse me? You sound stimulating.”

Dax’s move would have proven extremely detrimental for him in case Kristen had not replied to it the way she did. However, luckily for Dax, Kristen had fallen in love with him way before he fell for her. The two have been together for 13 years now, married for 6 years, and have two lovely daughters. The message this love story gives is that one need not necessarily experience love-at-first-sight to have a stable relationship culminating in marriage.
