It was less than after week that Julia Roberts nominated Ali Wentworth in the #IStayHome challenge when Ali Wentworth Tests Positive For Coronavirus as George Stephanopoulos’ Wife Says She Never Felt Sicker ever in her whole life. Ali shared her experience of getting infected on her account on Instagram. In one of the photos that she posted before coming out with the positive diagnosis, she was up and close with her husband of 19 years George with a post underneath that said she cannot stay six feet away from her husband even though they have been married for close to two decades. Like any other coronavirus patient experience, no one can tell when Ali’s symptoms began to manifest but from the photo with her husband, George it seems that although she was self-isolating with her family, she may not have experienced any symptom during the taking of the picture and hence did not know that she contracted the virus. Now that the diagnosis is out and positive, she has been kept under quarantine and isolated from the entire family while she fights the virus from the comfort of her home.

George Stephanopoulos was hosting Good Morning America in the studios. However, after the lockdown was declared, he has been broadcasting from his home. The nation is praying for the fast recovery of Ali and good health for George as well as their two daughters, Elliott (17) and Harper (14).

If you follow Ali on Instagram, you must have come across the post announcing her positive diagnosis of the virus. The caption also read that this was perhaps the sickest she has ever felt accompanied by a heavy chest and immense body aches. She is currently staying quarantined from the entire family and is not in the best place in her life.

It takes up to two weeks to manifest symptoms of the COVID-19 virus that highlights the point that George and the girls may also have contracted it. Medical professionals cannot set any rules regarding the virus and its ways and with Ali’s symptoms that include body aches and heavy feeling in the chest, her condition may or may not deteriorate. Ali’s contraction also does not guarantee the same for her husband and their daughters. The variables in the case of coronavirus are still mostly unknown and the immune system of a person’s body also determines the potential lifecycle of the virus.

George Stephanopoulos also announced on the Wednesday broadcast of his show, Good Morning America that he will be working from home indefinitely.

Apart from Ali Wentworth’s positive diagnosis, other celebrities who have also contracted the virus include CNN journalist Chris Cuomo.
