Canada has made an outstanding accomplishment in the field of hockey on the anniversary of the Canadian confederation.

According to hockey insiders, the National Hockey League of Canada has given hints that they are deciding between two Canadian cities to be the host of playoff teams resuming the 2019-20 season. As the NHL is leaning towards two Canadian cities for resumption of play we can assume for some good news very soon.

The NHL has decided upon the cities of Toronto, Ontario, Edmonton, and Alberta for the two hubs as the host cities for the playoff as the National Hockey League hopefully returns in July.

Even though everyone is hoping for the best for the upcoming event as NHL has announced the name of the possible host cities, hockey analyst John Shannon said that everything is tentative as no one can predict what the situation going to be in the future. But we can be optimistic as the NHL is doing everything they can for the season to continue.

As nothing is finalized as of now, Officials in Ontario and Alberta were not able to comment on the matter. NHL has not made a final agreement on the host cities yet.

They have agreed upon one city in the Eastern Conference and one city in the Western Conference. According to the rumors, Edmonton will be the host to both the Eastern and Western Finals, and the Stanley Cup Final as well.

Keeping the current situation and the new social conduct regulations in mind, they have determined to arrange the games without fan attendance and only support staff would be allowed in venues. There is still no word on the matter of broadcasting of these events. The commentary could be arranged at an off-site location away from the game but inside the NHL’s bubble.

Agreeing upon the NHL’s cohort quarantine proposal, the Canadian federal government has allowed them to follow their routine. The proposal permits incoming players to bypass the 14-day isolation period, giving the players from overseas and especially the United States great benefits.

Toronto is capable of providing great arenas and facilities hosting the Eastern Conference and the 12-teams as they have already hosted world-class hockey events like the 2016 World Cup of Hockey earlier.

Don Iverson, the Mayor of Edmonton displayed his eagerness to host the games by Tweeting a promotional video flaunting the benefits and beauties of Edmonton and surrounding areas.

The training camp will hopefully be opened by July 13 being postponed from July 10th as the players traveling on commercial flights had to be placed under quarantine for seven days.

The NHL and NHLPA have been observed to be conversing upon a potential CBA extension and other critical dates for the league. These do not impact the hockey season to resume in the near future.
