Back in 1982, Dr. Adler earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Science and Mathematics from Muhlenberg College, where he graduated Cum Laude. He then went on to obtain his Master of Science degree in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University in 1983, followed by his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1987.

Wanting to further his education, he completed his medical internship at the Medical College of Georgia in 1988, followed by his residency at the Georgetown University Medical Center in 1991.

The doctor is board-certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology, which is an independent, non-profit organization responsible for certifying ophthalmologists in the United States of America.
