Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 is Making Releasing On Xbox One

Kingdom Hearts franchise will be coming to Xbox One and that is probably the biggest news spread like a wildfire at Microsoft’s XO19 event. It is true that Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Is Seemingly Coming To Xbox One As Early As Next Week.

There are almost ten games in the popular series, yet the franchise decided to drop these games in every console except on Xbox One for all these years. Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II are mainly played on Sony consoles making its fans choose between mobile devices and portable Nintendo consoles.

It came out as a big surprise for the fans when Kingdom Hearts III was decided to be released on every platform including Xbox One and PlayStation 4 title. But Microsoft fans were disheartened to have quite a faded deal as they did not have permission for other games in the series to be played on the new console.

All the HD remasters are making its way to the Xbox One console like a storm. According to one old Microsoft store posting, the latest title might hit the digital storefronts by February 18th. The latest version which was only available for fleeting moments showed that Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue will be out on the mentioned date.

There will be a bag full of variety including Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance HD (originally released on the 3DS), cutscenes from Kingdom Hearts χ, and the one-hour Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep A Fragmentary Passage chapter that are directly linked with the latest storyline in the series.

It is a heart balm for the Xbox players who missed played this popular game for several years but finally, the time has come to put their hands on the series like they used to play it on PlayStation 3 and PS4. But a question is rising why the game is being released at this time of the year breaking its tradition.

It can be a gimmick move for Square Enix’s part to release its last HD collection. There are many people who have not yet played any popular series of the game and maybe it is a good idea for them to get their hands on the whole collection before playing Kingdom Hearts III.

There is a possibility that all the games of this series may be out at the same time. The all-in-one collection series will be out probably on the PlayStation 4 in March.

Meanwhile, Kingdom Hearts III has also released its big spin-off Re:Mindwhich adds different flavors including a new story with violent gangster bosses, challenging mode to take the great game to its next level. The DLC can be played on PlayStation 4 and will be supported on Xbox One afterward.
