According to WWE News, the event for Saudi Arabia’s Super ShowDown which is scheduled to be held on June 7, 2019, has finally started to take its form. In addition to the 50- Man Battle Royal, Randy Orton vs. Triple H and Goldberg vs. Now, The Undertaker, the WWE has announced a single match that is going to be held between Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman.

Soon after the match announcement, Bobby Lashley took to Twitter to hype the match. His post was aimed towards @BraunStrowman and read that the downward spiral continues at #WWESSD. Bobby addressed Braun by saying that after the later has lost his spot in the #MITB ladder match, it is now his time to face him and concluded his message by saying that it is going to be a difficult week for The Monster.

During the latest episode of the Monday Night RAW, Strowman was replaced in the Money in The Bank’s ladder match this Sunday after he was defeated by Sami Zayn. The loss made some speculate that Strowman was injured but as it appears that the replacement will be a part of a longer storyline between the two.

After having earned a bug name as one of the up and coming wrestlers on the WWE roaster, Strwoman has suffered quite a lot of setbacks. According to some latest reports, the popular wrestler has made some errors during the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal held at Wrestlemania 35 that included missing some of his spots, especially during the elimination of Mustafa Ali.

It seems that Luke Harper injured himself as he tried to protect Ali from getting injured as all the three wrestlers attempted the elimination spot for the second time.

Post his defeat to Finn Balor at the Intercontinental Championship, Lashley also had some suspect booking. Lio Rush, who used to be his hype man apparently, has caused quite a lot of friction in the company by going vocal with his displeasure about the compensation package and also his place in the company.

Although all of this has got nothing to do with Lashley on the personal front, certainly he has lost some of the momentum, which he earlier used to have, while being paired with Rush.

Lashley is currently being used with tag team matches and is currently not scheduled to appear at this weekend’s Money In The Bank event.

The Super SmackDown event which is scheduled to be happening in Saudi Arabia shall see a high profile battle between two big men. This event will not only provide the two talented wrestlers an opportunity to showcase their in-ring abilities but shall also give them a chance to bring back things on track with the management, and the creative if they end up having a positive showing in the match.

On their recent statement being released on their website, The WWE has even hinted on the same as they stated that the two explosive Superstars shall boast their respective unique form of ruthless aggression that would further cause an international incident of pain and destruction, when everything gets said and, done.

They raised the most expected question by asking whether the ring can pull off their strengths or not. For finding out more about the event, fans have to check it out at WWE Super ShowDown.

For those who are still unaware, WWE’s Super ShowDown is scheduled to take place on June 7. 2019, and shall be broadcasted as a WWE Network Special live from the King Abdullah International Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
