He spent the majority of his early medical career in the Navy, stationed in Pensacola, Florida at the Naval Aerospace and Regional Medical Center, where he completed his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology, and his residency in family practice. Later, he completed his fellowship in laser technology for the treatment of cervical dysplasia and vulvodynia at the Reid Institute.

Distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), the doctor is board-certified in obstetrics & gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define specialty standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.

Just before opening his own practice to better serve the Genesee Community, he was an OB/GYN physician at Women’s Integrated Health in Grand Blanc.

When he isn’t taking care of his patients, he is at home gardening or teaching the next generation of medical residents.
