Since its release in 2017 PUBG or Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds has become one of the most popular and fastest-growing Battle Royal Games in history. Though it’s seemingly ousted by other games like Fortnite and even Apex, which is also losing its charisma fast, it still has some tricks up its sleeve.

PUBG has been receiving mixed reviews for quiet sometimes due to some issues like stability, hacking, and most importantly DDoSing, making it impossible to play. But still, they are trying to get up on their feet and fight to have a stable foothold in the industry as PUBG Corporation Addresses Recent Issues In PUBG During Announcement.

The corporation has acknowledged the fact that they have been facing these issues for the last few months and they plan on addressing these problems very soon. They began their announcement recognizing how extremely frustrating it is for the players to deal with these problems that they are facing for so long.

The issues with cheating and hacking were discussed first; distinguishing cheaters (Hackers who use aimbots and other hacks) and disposing of them were given the most precedence. The team is working relentlessly garnering help from numerous internal teams and some external sources to combat the situation and find solutions to the problems and hoping to have some answers by the end of March this year.

Besides the hacking, the company promises to fix the situation of FPS and stability with utmost urgency. To identify and work out the issues that are causing the game to lag, crash and multiple other difficulties, they are now conducting multifaceted tests and analyzes vigorously. As players have all kinds of hardware in their system, it can be quite difficult but the expert team has come up with strategies that use the replay files and system data to fix the issues but it’s a never-ending process.

The corporation conversed about the development team increasing the DDoS defense against DDoDing attacks. They are working with several server infrastructure providers to effectively protect their various game servers and provide smooth and stable playing experience. They assured that the damage has been reduced by 85%, but they still have not produced the metric that it refers to.

Another issue the game is facing recently is of uneven matchmaking with the Team Deathmatch Arcade game mode. The team stated that they will be deploying a hotfix that will resolve the problem of uneven teams. This particular issue is not currently solved but they promise to resolve it very soon.
