Racism is a global concern and the Black Lives Matter movement has exploded all over the internet with several celebrities raising their voice against the issue. Recently Adele joined the long list of celebrities who have come forward to show their support to the Black Lives Matter movement which has sparked due to the horrible and tragic murder of George Floyd by a policeman. Since then massive and explosive riots have begun all over. The whole world has come together to address this outrageous act and people all over the world have been protesting police brutality and racism in general.

Adele took to her Instagram handle to share her statement to focus on what has been happening around and wrote that George Floyd’s murder has sent shockwaves around the world, but there are still countless others that have not. There have been protests and marches happening all over the globe and has been gaining momentum as well. So in this scenario, everyone must be righteously angered but also must choose to remain focused. She urged everyone to keep listening, keep asking, and to keep learning simultaneously. She also emphasized that it is imperative for everyone to not get disheartened, hijacked, or by any means manipulated right now.

Apart from Adele, many other famous people have been rightfully using their respective platforms to speak up on the prevailing unfairness and to seek justice, and some have even gone forward to join the street protests.

Some of the well-known names include Ariana Grande, Jamie Foxx, Michael B. Jordan, Kehlani, and Kendrick Sampson, to name a few who have been protesting alongside the other enraged citizens.

Added to these names, Halsey and others have even offered medical aid to the protestors who have been injured in Santa Monica this past weekend during their confrontations with the police.

Also, Hasley has argued that people should not underplay these rubber bullets just because they have been already told they are not lethal. She even said how she had to bandage one man who looked like his whole face had exploded. And, therefore before anyone says anything while sitting in the comfort of their homes they must understand the consequences, and without thinking that we are merely exaggerating, they must consider the injuries which some have suffered.
