Bio
Jamaal Russ is a passionate writer, author, and entrepreneur. He is the author of a series of books including “The People vs. Jamaal Russ” and “The Russ Bros, Gangsta’s to God’s”. He appeared in television shows like Mcguyer, Good Girls, and BET Tales and in major films, Black Panther and Uncle Drew. Jamaal Russ also owns an Atlanta based apparel company called DENARO PURO.
Background
Jamaal Russ was imprisoned for a crime he did not commit. He was able to overcome numerous challenges and opposition from the state of New York. He found a renewed purpose after fighting his case himself, being acquitted from charges, and freeing himself from unlawful captivity.
Mission
Jamaal’s experience greatly affected him and ultimately helped him to turn his life around. Today he aims to use his experience to create awareness in his community. His goal is to produce content that will enlighten, inspire, and uplift his audience.
