Singers Like Ed Sheeran And Camilla Cabello Are Coming Together To Help The People Of Ukraine
Everyone is going through a crucial time in Ukraine. To help the people who are suffering in that situation a fundraising concert has been arranged.
It is coming to know that renowned pop stars will perform at the concert. Ed Sheeran, Camilla Cabello, Snow Patrol will do a musical performance.
The fundraising event will be two hours long. It will also have performances by Emeli Sande and Gregory Porter. Along with them, more performances will be conducted.
The concert will be held on 29th March, at the resorts world arena, Birmingham. The tickets will be available from 22nd March.
This concert will be hosted by Spice Girl Emma Bunton, and to give company there will be Marvin Humes and Ronan Kemp. The Manic Street Preachers and Tom Odell will also take part in the show.
The program will be broadcasted on ITV, STV, ITV Hub, and STV. This is produced by Livewire Pictures.
The broadcast will not only show the musical performances but also telecast the short films about the ongoing relief efforts and the difficulties that people are facing for the ongoing conflict.
All the audiences are eligible to donate the money in the evening during the show and everyone is capable of donating online at dec.org.uk. They can also donate by doing the text ‘CRISIS’, the text will cost £10.
They have only kept an age limit of 16 to do the donation.
All sponsorship and advertising revenue generated from the broadcast – estimated to be more than £3 million (€3.5 million) – will be donated by ITV to the DEC appeal.
Camilla Cabello the former member of the group Fifth Harmony said, ‘My heart is breaking for the people of Ukraine’.
She also added, ‘One of the biggest needs is to get funds to organizations who can serve these communities directly, so we’re focusing our efforts on doing that as quickly as we can’.
Emeli Sande said, ‘I will be singing to try to help every human being forced to flee their home and in solidarity with those being racially discriminated against even within this humanitarian crisis. She commented ‘Nobody should be refused access to relief, aid, and the right to cross the border to safety, and I’m pleased for the chance to support the DEC’s appeal to help all people whose lives have been affected by the conflict’.
Gregory Porter added, ‘thankful to be able to raise my voice in the chorus of peace’ adding: ‘Together we can show our support for those who are badly affected by the current world’s events.
