Blizzard has been up on its game as it has been coming up with different new news on World of Warcraft: Shadowlands almost every day. Previously they have come up with new framerate options and character creation screening which created a buzz among the gaming world.

Their newest upgrading is focused on the flying mounts and the Covenant factions and new abilities. The recent World Of Warcraft: Shadowlands announcements reveal new Covenant abilities, changes to flying mountsand many more. Sources revealed that three new Covenant abilities will be added in the upcoming expansion with the Covenant factions. It was also disclosed that some changes will be made with the flying mounts too.

Blizzard confirms that Artisan training will be removed in the patch with the flying mounts. With this training, players previously used the use of flying mounts at 280% speed, with100% flying speed for Expert and 310% flying speed for Master.

This training has also been very costly for the players with 5,000 gold but was a mandatory requirement to achieve the Master flying speed. And now with Blizzard eliminating this event, this would enable the gamers to save their money and also decrease the vast number of mount training tiers. This could be of great benefit as it can improve the streamline leveling without losing significant gameplay essentials.

With the addition of three new Covenant abilities, the title acquires a greater taste in the gaming domain.

The first ability Soul Rot unlocks a special Warlock attribute from the Night Fae Covenant. It has the ability to affect maximum four targets with a deadly Nature damage for 8 seconds and in the meantime casts a Drain Life charm healing the Warlock. This particular charm is very helpful because the Soul Rot ability requires 20% of the Warlock’s maximum health to be used.

The second ability in the patch is Primordial Wave for the Shaman class bestowed upon them by the Necrolords. This ability depends heavily on the casting Shaman’s specialization. A Restoration Shaman will be able to apply Riptide and heal the allies significantly depending on their Spell and Attack power. This will also affect their dexterity to strike the targets harmed by Riptide or Flame Shock. On the other hand, the Elemental and Enhancement Shamans can employ the wave at their offense, causing the same amount of damage without the healing aspect.

The third and the last Covenant ability is the Bonedust Brew, which is a Monk-specified ability gifted by the Necrolords. This gives the monks a 15% chance to hit the target at the first attempt and a 25% chance on the second try as they throw a barrel of Bonedust Brew onto targets. Each specialized monks gets an additional effect listed below:

  • Brewmaster: Tiger Palm and Keg Smash reduces the cooldown of your brews by an additional 1 second when striking enemies with your Bonedust Brew active.
  • Mistweaver: Gust of Mists heals targets with your Bonedust Brew active for an additional (33.75% of Attack Power).
  • Windwalker: Spinning Crane Kick refunds 1 Chi when striking enemies with your Bonedust Brew active.
