An All In All Peek Into The League Of Legends, Patch 9.23 ‘Rise Of Elements’

Recently, the first patch of the preseason entering into season 10 was released by Riot Games, along with the official launching of the same. The handing out of the ranked rewards for the previous season will be done during the first couple of days of the new patch. League of Legends, Patch 9.23 ‘Rise Of Elements’ Highlights, Notes And Rundown By Scairtin. The preseason basically incorporates two noteworthy changes- that is, the alcoves and the elemental drakes. The aforementioned changes blend variety into the game for avid gamers. Post the death of the second Elemental Drake, the map transforms permanently depending on the type of the 3rd Drake. Following the change in the map, all future drakes will be the same as the 3rd type.

  1. Infernal Rift (3rd Drake Infernal Drake)- new pathways open up following the burning away of the red and blue buff.
  2. Mountain Rift (3rd Drake Mountain Drake)- two new buffs of rock spring up in each jungle quadrant and a unique rock formation forms in front of the drake pit.

  • Ocean Rift (3rd Ocean Drake)- the bushes in the jungle become more colossal and new Honeyfruit begins to generate near the buff camps.

  1. Cloud Rift (3rd Cloud Drake)- the movement of everyone passing through the jungle is amplified by the flowing of the air current.

The addition of the alcoves in the top lane and the bottom lane make room for outplaying potential. The moment a team kills four elemental drakes, they provide a Dragon Soul. The power-packed late-game buff, the dragon soul, has a primary aim of enabling players who are ahead to win the game harder, to be encouraged on the first Dragons. The effects of the current Drake buffs will no longer be increased by the Elder Dragon, but the true damage will increase as part of compensation. The significant level discrepancy between duo lane and solo laners was increased by means of lowering the experience of the duo lane to increase more roaming, whereas the experience of the solo laners was increased.

Changes are made to the jungle; the camps will grant lower experience gold while regenerating faster. In the previous season (that is, season 9), the long regeneration rate of camps was a major issue, which allowed junglers to direct their undivided attention towards the laners. The changes in the jungle experience are aimed at penalizing junglers who decline to farm and only camp lanes. Henceforth, junglers will not be able to upgrade from the store with the help of gold. The support items have also undergone changes. The moment a support item is fully upgraded by the player, he will lose the gold passive and will be unable to generate any more gold with it over and above the passive gold-per-5 stat.

The aforementioned changes have definitely enhanced the gaming experience of gamers, as is evident from their positive feedback for the same ever since the incorporation of the changes by the developer. As the support items were quite oppressive in the previous season, the rework was very much required.
